Its seals are made from superior strength nitrile rubber. This material also has good resistance to abrasion and a higher than average resistance to oils, acids and hydraulic fluids. The components plastic housing carries an IP65 (ingress protection) rating, meaning its dust-tight and protected against jets of water.
