Its especially useful in emergency situations as you can quickly change the direction of airflow and prevent damage to equipment downstream. The unit has an aluminium die-cast housing for increased durability and extended service life. The valves exhaust port is fitted with a silencer to diffuse the release of air and reduce noise levels. A hand-operated valve is also useful as a back-up control in the event of an automated system failing.
