To protect the hoses exterior wall, the band has raised edges and is precisely stamped to avoid perforation. Its made from standard marine-grade 316 stainless steel, so its suitably corrosion-resistant to be useful in offshore environments. It also meets British Standard 5315:1991 for high-quality general-purpose hose clips.
