The lead has DisplayPort and DVI-D connectors, which means you’ll be able to make a direct video connection instead of using an adapter and separate cable. The DisplayPort interface was developed as a royalty-free alternative to HDMI and requires no additional software or drivers. The PVC cable supports both 8-bit and 10-bit deep colour displays and a video bandwidth of up to 10.8Gpbs. There’s a male 20-pin connector with a latch to prevent accidental disconnections and a strain relief on the end of the hood to support the cable.
