Theyre particularly well-suited for use in marine environments. The plain-finish nuts have metric threads and come in sizes from M3 (3 mm diameter hole) to M10 (12 mm diameter hole). You can easily tighten them onto a bolt or screw with standard metric sockets or spanners.
