The polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG) sheet offers good optical clarity, so you can see through it to the product, and also has a rating of 78 on the Shore D hardness scale, so it can endure high-impact knocks and drops, even at temperatures as low as -29°C. The plastic sheet is also resistant to chemicals and has 0% water absorption, which means your packaging will be moisture-resistant and keep out contamination and solvents. The PETG sheet has FDA approval for use with food and pharmaceutical products and will self-extinguish in case of fire, with a UL 94 HB flammability rating.
