With a concave shape that focuses heat into one place, its highly energy efficient – 96% of the input power is converted into pure heat. The unit has a wire embedded inside the heating element that creates long-wave infrared in parallel rays for improved efficiency. It has a guaranteed working life of between 5,000 and 10,000 working hours and a hardwearing, glazed ceramic surface that protects the element from corrosion. The unit is power rated at 500 W and has a maximum surface temperature of +700°C, so its suitable for use even in challenging industrial environments. This curved ceramic element has been given the RS PRO seal of approval for quality and reliability.
