As it doesnt contain any binders or lubricants, it wont release fumes or smells during its first firing. This makes it suitable for use in chimneys and in heat recovery steam generators (HRSG). To ensure installation is fuss free, this blanket is easy to cut and shape. Suitable for use in heat shields, mould wrap insulation and passive fire protection, the thermal insulation sheet is flame-retardant, immune to thermal shock and resistant to chemicals. Its made of calcium-magnesium silicate and can withstand temperatures as high as +1150°C. A versatile product, youll find it used across industry in storage heaters and domestic ovens.
