The rubber sheets closed-cell structure prevents liquids and gases from passing through. It can withstand temperature extremes of as low as -60°C to as high as +200°C, and features resistance to ozone and ultra-violet (UV) light, so its suitable for use in a wide range of volatile environmental conditions. The silicone rubber sheet also has a relatively low compression rate, so it will return to its original shape after pressing or squeezing. Silicone rubber makes an effective replacement for standard rubber, providing a soft and flexible insulation material.
