Its certified as a safe Tolerance Class 2 thermocouple cable, conforming to the IEC-584-3 standard, and has colour-coded cores and jacket to indicate this. You wont damage equipment by electrostatic discharge as it meets the stringent ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 standards.
