Use this DPNO (Double Pole Normally Open) timer relay from the RS PRO range to control the power flow in circuits at timed intervals. Standard control relays perform a rudimentary function, opening and closing circuits whenever voltage is applied or removed from the coil. Timer relays allow users to pre-select time intervals for circuit switching, a useful function for day-and-night lighting and equipment safety control. This multi-function relay has the option of 8 or 18 timing functions depending on the model, including incremental and decremental counting modes. Time is displayed in hours, minutes and seconds on a clear 3-digit LCD screen, with a display range of 0.1 seconds to 999 hours. The product is fitted with a DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung, the German Institute for Standardization) rail mount that fits onto a DIN rack with ease.
