With this quick-release plate you can use Aptaris easily and economically as a rig system without Cage. This convenient accessory part thereby is far more than just a quick-release plate, which enables you to change quickly between rig and tripod when filming: It comes with three 1/4 inch threads, which you can use to fasten e.g. a Magic Arm and thus further accessories. The plate corresponds with the Manfrotto P501 Standard and therefore matches almost all conventional tripods. For use with a rig system, it is directly mounted to the rod module.
