Some common examples of these include HDTVs, computer monitors and projectors. The cable is housed in a flexible black PVC sheath that protects the wires inside from damage. The connectors are gold-plated to guard against corrosion and have finger-tightened screws for a secure connection. These DVI-D cables are suitable for digital signals only and offer no analogue support. Dual-link for higher bandwidth, the cable supports video resolutions up to 1920x1200.
