Their metric thread sizes range from M3 to M5. The machine screws are supplied in six lengths from 6 mm to 25 mm and have a slotted-cheese-type head that sits above the material surface and accepts a regular flat screwdriver. Theyre fully threaded and are designed to be used with a nut or inserted into a tapped hole. The nuts conform to the DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung, or the German organization for standardization) 934 specification for hex nuts used with standard metric tools. The zinc-plated finish provides moderate corrosion resistance that makes the screws, nuts and washers most suitable for indoor or dry outdoor environments.
