Flexible Light Guides for SMD LEDs (Switch). This family of flexible light pipes, from MENTOR, have a 1 mm or 2 mm fibre. This range is designed for use with up to 3 Chipleds with a 0805 footprint or smaller. This enables the user to create bi-colour or tri-colour displays. Vertical light pipes are designed for use with surface mount (SMD) LEDs and are fitted to the circuit board using push-fit lugs. The light pipe inject face sits in close proximity to the LED on the board..
